About Us
FTC Modderfontein is a privately owned fire and rescue campus situated in the heart of the Gauteng at the now expanded Ken Horsely Fire Training Centre property.Â
Â
Available as a training space for state, industrial, private, commercial and volunteer fire departments and services, the campus boasts a 900sqm live fire training area with multiple props, a large smokehouse, a training tower and a fire servicing workshop.
With a focus on community safety and awareness, FTC host multiple community events including the popular monthly Night Drill events, Kids Fire Safety days and community fire training workshops.
The venue is also available for birthday parties and a small café which will serve lunches and refreshments opens in August.

Kids Parties!
FTC host firefighter kids parties on Saturday, Sundays and select Public Holidays.
We charge R3,250 for a party which includes the venue, furniture (adults & kids), jumping castle, a fire talk and activity and a short fire engine ride for up to 25 kids.

Venue Rental
The hall, the hot zone, tower and smoke house are all available for rental individually or as a full venue package for training companies and fire departments.
Need a venue for your next function? The Ken Horsley Fire Training Centre is a great space for small indoor or larger outdoor functions for up to 300 people.
